Ok, I didn’t make it to archery on Saturday. I made the huge mistake of trying to get to the club with the help of Sat-Nav and ended up sitting in traffic through the City until my patience ran out. I’m booked in to go again this Saturday so hopefully that will work out better.
As a relatively newly qualified driver (passing my test at the 3rd attempt around 3 months ago at the age of 38) it is an easy mistake to make to assume that the Tom Tom will know where I should go better than I do – I won’t make that mistake again! then again, I do keep making the mistake of assuming that the other people on the road have some idea of how to drive . . .
